Servings: 32 (1 tsp of vinegar for 1/2 cup sparkling water)

This effervescent fall-time treat harkens back to the old tradition of rootbeer, utilizing seasonal roots and barks to both flavor this pungent drink and bestow it with medicinal value. Featuring liver-supportive herbs such as burdock and sarsaparilla, and classic autumnal warming herbs such as ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom - this medicinal drink honors the season of fall by utilizing big root medicine and spicy warming herbs.  Oxymels are a concentrated elixir that can be mixed with sparkling water for a delightful yet healing treat. Each bottle contains 4oz of oxymel and should be stored in the fridge and used within 3-months of purchase.

Ingredients: Local honey, Raw apple cider vinegar, Sarsaparilla root, Burdock root, Anise Hyssop leaves and flowers, Ginger root, Cinnamon bark, Cardamom pods, molasses, vanilla bean pods.

How To Use: Add 1-2 teaspoons of oxymel per 1/2 cup of sparkling water and serve over ice for a very herbal version of authentic rootbeer.

We pride ourselves in using the best-quality herbs we can for our blends; all herbs are organic if possible and sourced from small local farms or trusted herbal suppliers that we feel have integrity in their work. The sarsaparilla root in this blend comes from a traditional Appalachian folk herbalist and generational ethical forager and forest grower/cultivator.
