A  topic that is near and dear to my heart, this class is being offered in support of the many refinery workers who call Martinez, Contra Costa,  and Solano County their home. Recent events at the refinery in Martinez have reminded us of the volatile environment that these long-standing  members of our community have to endure on a daily basis. As someone who grew up in a refinery town, this class is being offered as an act of  community service for this area. Teachings will also be useful for anyone who works in a caustic work environment and will focus on herbs and foods to help support the body's natural detoxification pathways. This class is open to all.
